El Radisson RED Oslo Okern está bien situado en el distrito Grunerlokka de Oslo, a 5 km de la fortaleza de Akershus, a 5 km de Aker Brygge y a 6 km del lago Sognsvann. It was a new modern hotel with nice rooms and very comfortable beds.The breakfast was very rich and delicious!

Everything was outstanding, the hotel is beautiful, nice rooms , excellent breakfast and caring staff and also the gym was outstanding for a hotel. We also received great recommendations for restaurants from the concierge. Location is also extremely good very central yet quiet.

Este hotel, inaugurado en septiembre de 2018, se encuentra en Oslo, junto al centro comercial Storo Storcenter, entre los barrios de Storo y Nydalen, a unos 5 km del centro de la ciudad. The breakfast was absolutely excellent! It had it all :-D The room was good-sized with two(!) comfy arm chairs and a desk. The shower was really good with both a handheld mouthpiece and a large overhead one. There was also plenty of space for you luggage.The bed was also comfy and not too soft (I like beds tending towards the firm end of the spectrum). Another detail I appreciated was the main power switch for the room. It was the ordinary solution where you are supposed to insert your key card in order to activate the power. However, here there was already a card in the switch and all you had to do was to press it in a bit when you arrive, and pull it out slightly when you leave the room. No risk to forget your card, nice!

Great hotel on all accounts, met or exceeded my expectations: - very kind, relaxed, helpful and always available staff; - attention to detail, thoughtful arrangement (lighting, desk, hangers, bathroom) - spaciousness (room, shower, bed) - cleanliness - comfort - quiet (no street noise, good sound-proofing) - warmth (heating) - shared facilities such as laundry, ironing, microwaves, kitchenette, food - other shared space on first (ground) floor (sofas, tv, ping pong and football tables), nicely arranged, allows easy interaction if desired, or peaceful time in private - location (right in the centre, short walk from central station, tram stop right outside, shop next door) - very convenient check-in and -out times I have not travelled to Norway much, but comparing to other European destinations, this has exceeded my expectations, especially considering that price was reasonable. Will stay there again in the future.
